Do make sure you take your children to Rafiki's Planet Watch, just take the railroad ride there. They offer a bunch of education exhibits and a working animal hospital, where you can take a peek at what is going on. So whether you are into Animals or just want to add some more thrill rides, this park rocks for a family day out.
I can promise you that small children will really get a kick out of going to the Animal Kingdom Theme Park. It was tough for us, being parents, trying to figure out the best choices of places to go and see. I think the animal stuff is just so real, although there's nothing wrong with Tomorrowland and Space Mountain! Make sure you get your kids over to see the Rafiki Station and they have a petting zoo. Very impressive is being able to look inside of the Veterinarian Services offered here at Disney. They have a couple of working hospitals inside of Animal Kingdom where you get to see various different animal types being operated on through the glass windows. This is something I've never seen before anywhere, and another impressive thing that Disney offers that nobody else does.
