Go to the coolest thing of all for kids in Orlando. This is for those kids who are under nine or too small for the big horses on the trails. It is just perfect for little ones under forty eight inches tall. Small kids cannot ride Space Mountain or get on the full sized horses, so thank goodness for the Pony Rides. This is open seven days a week at Fort Wilderness camp near pioneer hall allears.net inside the Orlando campground at Disney. We took the bus from All-Star Sports Resort and got off at the settlement depot terminal. No infants is the rule, only for small children of two years old. I am not sure how they would know if a child was twenty months old, but oh well, as safety is big here. Just show up on a nice day as guests do not need reservations. It was five dollars when we went, it might have gone up since that was last year.
If your kids are tall enough, over forty eight inches, go for the trail rides. Horseback riding at rockspringsruntrailrides.com is great when not too hot, as the horses do sweat. You might want to double check the weight, height, and age requirements online first to be sure before you take the bus over. On the trails the group goes for just under an hour, not counting the photos and pre boarding fun. We enjoyed the Relaxing ride through Fort Wilderness Resort and the ranch in general. Adults will enjoy it and what a primetime horse riding experience for our children. This was even better than Woody's Cowboy Camp and Big Thunder Mountain ride!
